How to Look Great All Day Long with This All-Day Eye Makeup

Who has time to reapply makeup throughout the day? Try these tips to make sure your makeup lasts all day into the night. 

Eye serum

Apply serum, gel, or eye cream underneath the eye. Avoid the eyelid as this will encourage smearing of your makeup later in the day.

Primer

Use a primer for your eye lid and face if you are going to apply foundation too.

Concealer

Apply concealer to the eyelid up to the brow bone.

Cream eyeshadow

Use a shadow stick and apply all over the lid up to the brow bone. Use the pointy end of the stick (usually the darker color) to apply color in the crease of your eye, making a V shape. Blend.

Powder eyeshadow

Layer on powder shadow, shading for your desired look.

 Highlighter

Apply highlighter just beneath the eyebrow. 

 Powder:

Use powder and lightly dab over eyelid. This helps to set the makeup for the day.

Top eyeliner

Apply eyeliner, staying as close to the lash line as you can.

Trace eyeliner

Trace the eyeliner with shadow for extra staying power.

Bottom eyeliner

Apply eyeliner to the bottom lash line as well.

 Mascara

Use mascara to pump up the volume.
